STATE-OWNED SHIPS

(Received Jan. 5, at 5.6 p.m.) Though during the post-war years several countries, including Australia, abandoned the experiment of Stateowned ships, a Barcelona message says that a State decree has been issued creating. a State-controlled company in order to take over the shipping lines of all the Spanish possessions.
