Sib, —Abolish the Otago Provincial Council, abolish the directorate of the Co-operative Fruitgrowers of Otago by amalgamation with the Fruitgrowers' Federation, with the delegates to the Provincial Conference ae an advisory local board. Mr H, Turner could be offered the managership of the new -amalgamation if desired. Under this plan not only would there be a great saving in overhead and other expenses, but a much-needed added efficiency by having the best fruitgrowers’ business brains in New Zealand at the disposal of the local fruit industry—a result that should enable all growers to live happy ever after.—l am, etc., • Ebitest C.
