EXPEDITION TO BE SENT.

(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, December 18. (Received Dec. Ifl, at 10 p.m.) A message from Philadelphia states that the director of the University of Pennsylvania Museum announced that an expedition to study the Australian aboriginal tribes would be departing soon under the leadership of Dr D. S. Davidson, the museum archeologist. Dr Davidson plans to recruit assistants in Sydney and then work into the interior as the study progresses.
