PAYMENTS TO AMERICA
ANNOUNCEMENT BY TREASURY. (United Pros* Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 15. (Received Dec. 16, at 0.15 a.m.) The Treasury announces the payment to the United States of 93,795,000 dollars, of which 27,000.000 dollars represents the repayment of principal, the balance being interest. The total payments since the funding of the British debt to America is now 1,124,000,000 dollars, of which 174,000,000 represents the payment of principal. The amount outstanding is now 4,426,000,000 dollars.
