(Peb United Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, November 5. The Auckland Cricket Association tonight resolved that umpires in Plunket Shield matches should be appointed by the New Zealand Council on nominations received from the various associations.

It was also decided to approve of a tour of England by a New Zealand team in 1931, provided that favourable financial arrangements can be made. Approval was expressed of one overseas professional only being played in Plunket Shield matches, and of the number it New Zealand selectors being limited to four —one from each major association.
