ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
VAN AND TRAM COLLIDE. (Feb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November ,5. A tram and motor van came into collision at a sharp bend on the Wadestown line last night. The van was badly smashed and the tram was knocked about to a less extent. The driver of the van was cut over the eye, but no one else was injured.
ACCIDENTAL DEATH. (Pe» United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 5.
A verdict of accidental death was returned by the coroner (Mr McNeil) at the inquest on Edward Elton and his wife, the victims of the tragic motor accident on Whiteman's Valley road on Sunday, October 27. In the coroner’s opinion the evidence had not shown that blame was attachable to anvone.
