MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Football Association was held last night. Mr A. W, Smith occupied the chair. It was decided to write to the Southland Association suggesting September 14 as the date of the Otago-Southland match, the game to he played on the main ground at Logan Park. Mr A. M'Lennan reported that all arrangements had been completed for the schoolboys’ tournament, billets having been found for all the boys. It was reported that the gate takings at Logan Park on Saturday wore £8 5s 6d. Mr J. Moonvood, referee in the Northern-Mosgiel match at Logan Park, reported that he had ordered W. Treyathen of the Mosgiel team off the field for using obscene language.—The player attended and stated that he did not remember using the language. If he did lie was sorry.—lt was decided to suspend Trevathan until the end of the season. , The secretary of the Port Chalmers tY-V, '? ote protesting against the Maori Hill Club’s action in playing three unregistered players hgainst its second Grade team.—lt was decided to inform the Port Chalmers Club that the protest was not in order. The secretary of the Southland Football Association wrote asking if it would be possible to arrange a match between the Southland Technical College and a Dunedin secondary school team.—lt was decided to refer the letter to the Dunedin Technical College. The secretary of the New Zealand Association wrote asking what steps the Otago Association was taking in response to the appeal for financial assistance.— It was decided to postpone consideration of the matter until the end of the season. It was decided to congratulate the Seacliff Club on its success in the Chatham Cup semi-final and to wish it success in the final. The secretary reported that the results of the following matches had not been received Second Grade, Old Boys v. Tramways; Third Grade, Roslyn v. Ravensbourne; Fourth Grade, Ravensbourne v. Northern. It was decided that the winner (Seacliff) and the runner-up (Technical) in the club competition should play off for the Chinese Charity Cup, the date to be fixed later, THE CHATHAM CUP. SEA CLIFF CLUB’S TEAM. The undermentioned team will play for Seadiff against Tramways (Auckland) at Basin Reserve, Wellington, on Saturday next in the final of the Chatham Cup;—Jackson, Anderson, Rogers, Murray, Munsie, Maxwell, MTiaughlan, Simmons, Hooper, M’Cormack, and M'Lean.
