CENTRAL OTAGO FRUITGROWERS’ ASSOCIATION.

( From Our Own Correspondent.) ALEXANDRA, August 10. • The twenty-second annual meeting of the Cctnral Otago Fruitgrowers' Assooiation was held in; Alexandra on August 3. Twentyffiye members' were present. The president (Mr. John Frater) occupied the chair. V The report and balance sheet, showing a credit balance of £203 18s, were read and received. The chairman, in moving the adoption, of the report, expressed gratification at the result of the year’s operations, and paid a graceful compliment ;to the officers. He expressed every' confidence in the future operations, and appealed to the members- to accord their whole-hearted support 'to' the 1 organisation,, which; had been st>' useful to the industry! The election of., office-bearers resulted as follows:—President,. Mr J.-Frater; (reelected); i vice-president, .Mr A. Thorley (re-elected); secretary , and - treasurer*, Mr Cecil '.M'lntosh (re-elected); executive— Messrs- Laing, Kirinaird, Munro, Goodall, Campbell, Hinton and ■ Forrest; ’ Finance Committee—Messrs Wing, Kinnaird and Hinton; auditor, Mr J. R. Laing. (re : elected). , .
