CRICKET.
CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. MATCH AGAINST ENGLISH TEAM. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, August 11. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association it was decided to accept a match against England at Christmas with a guarantee of £375. A resolution was carried approving of a visit of a Dominion team to England in 1931. At a special meeting of.delegates to the association it was decided not to grant affiliation to any further old boys’ clubs, and in the 1930-31 season to revert to district cricket, with only six senior teams instead of eight. The teams to be eliminated are High School Boys and Old Collegians,
