TRAINING COLLEGE CONCERT.
For tlio first time in Dunedin, Lee Williamss cantata "Bethany" will be produced on Tuesday next at Mis Majesty’s 1 hentre -by the Training College choir. Tins work was originally written for the groat "Three Choirs Contest ” in England. The choir is an outstanding combination picked from nearly 300 students Enthusiasm marks this' choir :of young teachers, which will perform under the conductorship of Mr d. Crossley Clitheroc. Besides the cantata, some glees and part songs ranging from the works of Morley to those of the well-known composer, Gustave Holst. The choir will be assisted by the orchestra. Miss Molly Vickers and Mr Arthur Alloo will sing solos. Box plan arrangements are.advertised.
