The season finished. with Sheffield Wednesday winning the "champiobship with 52 points, and Leicester City second with. 50. Bury and Cardiff, with 31 and 29 points respectively, are relegated to’ the second division. Middlesbrough, end Grimsby, with 56 and 53, are promoted. Port Yale and Clapton Orient, with 34 and 32, are relegated to the third divi--sion. In the southern section of the latter, Charlton and Crystal Palace headed the list with 50 points each, but the championship .goes ..to the former, which has the better goal average. In the; northern division of League 111, Bradford City, is top with 63 points, and, along with Charlton, is promoted to ' the , League second division,—Australian Press Association. .
