ATTEMPT TO WRECK TRAIN.
SLEEPER PLACED ON LINE. RAILWAY PORTER FOUND ' UNCONSCIOUS. (Peb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 3. Following the discovery of a sleeper across the line at Longbum on Wednesday night there was a further incident at the same spot last night, “ Field’s ” express from Wellington being again held up. It is reported that, when the train reached Longburn it was found that the signals were adverse.
