THE MISSION VESSEL.
PASSENGERS AT NORFOLK ISLAND. (Pbb United Press Association.) , , AUCKLAND, May 1. The Melanesian Mission has received a radio message from the disabled mission steamer Southern Cross, stating that all the passengers have been landed at Norfolk Island. No damage was done to the engines or to the propeller. The steamer can be moved to comparative safety if necessary, and possibly by Friday will be able to leave, presumably for Auckland, with a jury rudder. A tug la not being despatched in the meantime.
