OTAGO ASSOCIATION. Executive Committee of the Otago Cricket Association met last night. Mr C. Todd (president) occupied the chair. The writer asked for a ruling ou whether the players wore entitled to play for two clubs in ope season.—lt was decided to .inform the writer that as the South Otago Association was not affiliated to the Otago Association it was a. point which only the South Otago Association could decide. It was also decided to suggest that the South Otago Association should become affiliated. It was decided to contribute £5 5s towards the Peake Testimonial Fund. The matter of suggesting amendments to the Pluuket Shield rules was left in the hands of a subcommittee consisting of G. A. Wycherley, G. G. Austin, and W. Mackersy. Mr Fraser reported that tfie , winter coaching school was now in full’ swing. It had been made possible mainly through Messrs Waters, Ritchie, and Co.’s granting the use of Brydoue Hall. The expenditure so far amounted to £lO, and a fee of 5s which it was proposed to ask from each nlayer would pay foi material. Messrs F. Binney and L. Cameron had been the leaders in getting the scheme established. —It was decided to ask the Citizens’ Coaching Committee to grant £lO to cover the expenditure.—The chair man said the committee was delighted to know that the players were taking such a keen interest in the came, and on his motion votes of thanks were passed to Messrs Waters, Ritchie, and Co., and to the players who were acting as coaches in the winter school. The secretary reported that he c. _l- - that the association would have a credit balance of £34 at tbe end of the year. Accounts amounting to £320 IDs 8d wore passed for payment. , Mr G. A. Martin expressed the hopes of the members that the chairman would have a successful trip.—lu reply, the chairman thanked members for their support, and paid a tribute to the work of the secretary (Mr E. S. Wilson).
