AQUATICS.
VAUXHALL POWER BOAT CLUB A meeting of the Vauxhall Power Boat and Sailing Club Committee was held on Monday evening in the Houseboat. Several patrons were elected. The balance sheet of the opening day showed a profit. One woman member , was elected. The club intended to hold races foi outboard motor boats in the Anderson’s Day inlet during the winter months, but owin';' to the tides being unsuitable no races will be held for gome time. The club’s challenge cup for sailing boats, 18ft and under, will be competed for over the club course at Vauxhall on Saturday afternoon. About six boats will compete. The committee expressed its apprteia tion of the help it had received from the inception of the club, and particularly the assistance given on the opening day
