(Per UniTEJ Press Association.) WHANGAREI, April 29. In the Magistrate’s Court - to-day a young married man named Ivan R. L. Brown, recently a fruiterer, who was declared bankrupt, was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment for having contracted debts knowing that he could not make payment. WELLINGTON, April 29. The relay of the Wellington band concert last evening was so good for practical purposes that the concert might have been given in the Auckland Town Hall.
