' Golden and Hagen heat E. Whitcombe and Cotton, 2 up; Compston and C. Whitcombe finished all square with Farrell and Turnesa; Mitchell and Robson beat Dudley and Sarazen, 2 and 1; Dicgel and Espinoza beat Duncan and Boomer, 7 and 5. (Received April 28, at 11 p.m.) Twelve thousaand witnessed the thrilling contests' for the Ryder Cup. The biggest crowd attached itself to the captain, Duncan, who rose to great heights and never looked like losing the game, beating Hagen by 10 up and 8 to play. The finish was most exciting. America held the lead by one game of foursomes, and could still save the cup by winning the three closing matches.
