The accused were Harry Turner, John M’Gavock, and Ada Vivian Printz, and pleas of not guilty were entered in each case. Turner said Ije would admit being idle; but not disorderly. It was stated by the police that the house in question had been a source of annoyance to neighbours owing to the drinking which went on there and the bad language used by the occupants. When the constables entered the house, stated the senior sergeant, they found the female accused undressed in bed and the accused Thomas was found hiding in a corner of the same room.
