IDENTIFICATION DISCS

SUGGESTION BY t A CORONER. LONDON, April 3. “ It would be a good thing if everybody were compelled to carry an identification disc of some kind,” said the Southwark coroner, Dr Waldo, at th-* inquest on an unknown woman who was found drowned in the Thames. The coroner said that he was told that the Japanese had to carry discs around their necks from birth until burial. “ I do not see why that could not be done in England,” he added.
