A . ’ SPENT MONEY DELIBERATELY. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, February 15. Christian Henry Dale, a fanner at Te Hana,, North Auckland, faced his creditors here to-day with liabilities totalling £4BBO to secured creditors',, but no debts to unsecured creditors. His. deficiency was £2480. He calmly informed the creditors that ho had spent all his money deliberately, and had nothing for them. The official assignee; You-did that so that you would have no money for your creditors? Dale: Yes. The assignee: Well,.you are quite frank about it. You hare:got rid of f6OO since the end of September, only some of which has been for the settlement of-bad debts. The meeting adjourned for the'bank-' rupt to supply a statement explaining the disappearance of , the moneys for which he had not accounted.
