TO THE EDITOR, Sin,—The cfbtaiis given in your report of the on ' Tuesday night are meagre; £ISOO is to be given for land, neither area nor exact location being stated. A new rating levy has been discovered by Cr Mitchell namely, 30s rented houses at £SO per year. His figures as printed are apparently all wrong. I would like to know if ail the land to be acquired is to be built on, and also if the city employs outside architects, and. if so, what •their fee ig to be for the work proposed. I should also like some rough idea of the measurement of the building the citizens are going to use, apart from the caretaker’s home, and its future purpose. —I am, etc. Ratepayer.
