Two bandit cars came from the rear and waited until the milkman had returned from, the delivery of an order. The bandits then confronted the milkman with guns and warned him to stand still in silence. Then the bandit cars oped, forward and whirled in ahead of the truck, forcing it to the kerb. The robbers'fired several volleys, which smashed the plateglass window in frpnt of the truck and wounded the driver, wHo slumped in his seat. Then,- attacking the rear door, they machine-drilled a hole large enough for a bandit to insert his arm and unlatch the lock.

Tho residents were just beginning to taka notice of the shooting when the robbers decamped.—-United Service.
