LABOUR FAIR.
SUCCESSFUL UNDERTAKING. The carnival which has been run during the week in aid of the Labour Party’s campaign funds was brought to a close last evening, when all previous records were eclipsed. All side-shows and stalls did excellent business throughout the evening, and it is anticipated that a substantial sum will be handed, over to the campaign fund. An extended night was held in the cabaret, where the “ Kapai ” Dance Orchestra supplied appropriate music for a large number of dancers. The body of the hall was thronged with visi--tors during the whole of the evening, and presented a gay and animated appearance. The winner of last evening’s “ Balloon Championship ” was Mr S. Eingrose.
