SUSPENDED FROM PRACTICE.

SOLICITOR CONSENTS TO ORDER

(Special to Dally Times.) 1 CHRISTCHURCH December 7. An echo of the decent charges against the Christchurch solicitor, Percival Lewis Oribb Inder, was heard in the Supreme Court to-day, when Mr Justice Adams made an order of suspension from practice against Inder. •

Mr M. J. Gresson, on behalf of the Canterbury Law Society, made the application under sections 54 and 55 of the Law Practitioners Act. He stated that there was no opposition to the application. A rule nisi had already been obtained, and he would ask that the order be made suspending Inder until the decision of the Court of Appeal Had been given. He also asked that the papers be moved into the Court of Appeal. Mr W. J. Hunter, who appeared for Inder, said he would consent to the order. He pointed out that Inder was not in practice, and was earning his living in another way. He bad no intention of reentering the profession for a long time, whatever the decision of the Court of Appeal might be. , His Honor made the order of suspension and an order for removal. He granted £7 7s costa on the two motions.
