GROCERS’ PICNIC ASSOCIATION.
- ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Dunedin and Suburban Grocers’ Association- was held on Thursday, night in the Trades Hall, when there was a good attendance. Mr A. Edgar presided. The secretary presented the balance sheet for the 1928 picnic, showing that the association was in a sound financial posi-tion.-—The statement was adopted. The 'following were elected to the executive for the ensuing year: —President, Mr A. Edgar; vice-presidents, Messrs Q. Clark and S. Inglis; secretory, Mr D. Henderson; treasurer. Mi T. Stewart; handicapper, Mr W. Rennick; .committee —Messrs M'lntyre, C. Fraser, Rennick, Mong, M'Dowell, and Mills; auditors, Messrs Brown and Strong; trustees,, Messrs Wright and Baxter. It was decided, after some discussion, that the next picnic would be, held at Outram.
