DEATH OF THE TIGER.
(Per United Press Association.) HAWERA, Juno 11. The valuable trotting stallion, The Tiger, owned by Mr J. R, Corrigan, dropped dead after training exercise this morning as the result of a broken blood vessel. The Tiger was by Nelson ; Bingen from Runaway, and was regarded ; as a promising trotter. He had started in only eight races, securing six firsts.
