WANAKA SCOUTS’ CAMP.
(Fbom Oub Own Correspondent.) GLENDHU BAY, April 9. The Wanaka patrols of Boy Scouts are enjoying a pleasant holiday in camp at Glendhu Bay under the supervision of the Rev. Mr Sullivan and Mr W. Henderson. Heavy rain fell-on the evening of Good Friday. Mr P. R. Sargood and Mr W. Wilson kindly lent their cars and rescued the campers temporarily from their wet quarters. Sports of all kinds are being held and great enthusiasm prevails, and local residents are very interested in the camp. Yesterday a flying visit and tour of inspection was paid by Messrs J. Douchrass, D. A. Galloway, S; Willetts, and T. Munro, who promised to assist the boys in every possible way and help them to maintain the prestige and esprit de corps of their big brotherhood of fellow-scouts throughout the British Empire.
