(Received March 11, at 5.5 n The Soviet gold has been attached in n suit by the Bank of France, which alleges that the metal belongs to it as part of the funds stolen from the State Bank of Russia following the revolution.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
The United States Treasury declined to permit the assaying of the Russian gold, on the ground that it may be part of the reserve of the old Imperial Bank of Russia. The gold has been losing VOOdnl int'-rest daily since its arrival on February 20.
