GERMAN STATE LOTTERY
WON BY POOR TEACHER. (Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright.) BERLIN, March 8. A poor teacher at Baden bought a lottery ticket ami kept the fact a secret from his wife for fear lie should be henpecked for rashness. He wou £25,000 in the State lottery. For twenty years tho teacher had taken on eighth share, but this year he was tempted to plunge. A sensation was caused by the result, as it is rare for an individual to win the whole prize with a single ticket.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
