STAMPING OUT THE MAFIA. NEW ZONE BEING CLEARED UP, (Preu Awoclatlon—By Telegraph—Copyright. J ROME, March 8. Signor Mori, whom Signor Mussolini sent to Sicily to stamp out the Mafia, has now etxeuded his activities ta the provinces of Girgenti and Caltanissetta. Five hundred carabineers are concentrated in the new zone, and have arrested 500 members of tho_ Mania, who are suspected of 489 major crimes, including 62 murders. The leader was found to be a nrominent ancf respected citizen.—Sydney Sun Cable.
