The men at Dunedin and Wakan Hospitals, weie pleased with the coimorts suppaed. it was over nine years since the dose ot the war, and ex-service men were still coming along for treatment. , The Matron furnished a satisfactory report in regard to Montccillo. Several gifts for the benefit of the patients had been received. ' The financial statement to be dealt with at the annual meeting was submitted by Mr Roseveav (hon. treasurer). In reviewing the figures Mr Rosevear pointed out that the total funds were down by £B3O 9s Bd. However, he thought It was a very satisfactory statement, as, on the whole, the expenditure was less than formerly. Miss Graham said that the committee would be pleased with the result. In several directions They had been enabled to moke a fair saving. Mr King said that reference was made in the press lately to certain funds in the hands of the Government. Miss Battray reported that the recent meeting in honour of General Champain was a most successful one. The general, his wife, and daughters were delighted with it. and also with their visit to Montccillo Home. The party had greatly enjoyed their all. too short stay in Dunedin.
