HOPE OF DUNEDIN LODGE.
The Hope of Dunedin Lodge of the International Order of Good Templars held its weekly meeting on Wednesday night. Bro. S. H. Chapman (Chief Templar) presided. Three iew members were initiated. The new syllabus for the next quarter was presented by the Good of the Lodge Committee and adopted. A committee was appointed to arrange the mock banquet on February 8. The election of officers for next quarter resulted as follows: —0.T., Brp. S H. Chapman; V.T., Bro. Clarne South; P.C.T., Bro. Charles South; pianists. Sisters Burgess and Aroud; secretary, Bro. Williams, financial secretary, Sister Burgess; treasurer, Bro. Gore; chaplain, Sister Kay; marshal, Sister Mrs Anthony; deputy marshal, Sister Douglas; guard, Bro. Booth; sentinel, Bro. Churchill; S.J.W., Si ir Mi’s South, sen. The nominations for L.D. and E.D. were left over until next meeting. The secretary presented his quarterly report, which was received with thanks. It showed a gratifying increase in membership during a most successful quarter.
