OBITUARY.
DEAN PETER REGNAULT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 26. .The death occurred to-night, at the age of 72 years, cf Dean Peter Regnault, procurator of the Mnrist Order of Australasia. He was born in Brittany, and came to New Zealand in 1886 for seven years. He was a provincial of that order, and was one of the most eminent Roman Catholic churchmen in Australia. He had been ailing for some time. The deceased was held in the highest esteem by members of all denominations. He was responsible for building many churches in New Zealand, and did good work in connection with the lepers of Makogai Island.
