BOYS' CRICKET.

OTAGO v. CANTERBURY. Two cricket matches were commenced at the Caledonian Ground yesterday between.teams representing the Otago Boys’ Cricket Association and the Canterbury I3oys’ Cricket Association. The wickets were in first-class order, and, although the Otago teams did not fare too well, the play throughout was bright and interesting. Lack of confidence by the home players has resulted in the games reaching a stage in which it appears likely that the visitors will prove victorious in both contests. The fielding of the two teams was good. The two games are to he continued this morning at II o'clock. THE SENIOR GAME. The, scores in the senior game are as follows:--CANTERBURY. First Innings. Wise.
