SPORTS AT WAIKAKA. (From Our Own Cohresiondent.) GORE, January 26. The Waikaka Athletic Society’s annual sports were held on the Waikaka Recreation Grounds on Wednesday in dull but warm weather. There was a good attendance of the public, but the gate receipts of over £32 were slightly below those of last year. Good entries were received for the various events, and a fine afternoon’s sport was witnessed. The results of the sports were as follows ; Maiden 100 Yards. —W. Stewart 1, R. Graham 2, L.
