RACING IN AUSTRALIA. MEETING AT RANDWICK. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) - SYDNEY, January 26. (Received Jan. 27, at 0.15 a.m.) Anniversary Day was celebrated in beautiful holiday weather, and all spo-ts meetings were largely attended. At the Jockey Club meeting at Randwick the going was good. Following are the results:— ADRIAN KNOX STAKES.—Justify, 8.5, 1; Black Duchess, 8.5, 2; Ascalon, 8.5, 3. Eight started. Won by half a head. Time, Imin 37sec. ANNIVERSARY HANDICAP.—Tibbie, 8.9, 1; Don Moon, 8.5, 2; Honan, 8.4, 3. Thirteen started. Honan led entering the straight, but at the distance Tibbie made a run and, after a great effort, won by half a length, with threequarters of a length between second and third. Time. 2min 31sec —a race record.

RUGBY FOOTBALL. WARATAHS AT SANDRINGHAM. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, January 25. The King and Queen received the New South Wales Rugby football team at Sandringham. The team had lunch and tea with their Majesties.

CYCLING. AUSTEALIAN~TOUR OF THE DOMINION. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, January 26. Both Standen and Gray have received the sanction of the New South Wales Cyclists’ Union to visit New Zealand. They will leave for the Dominion immediately.
