CONCLUSION OF TRIAL. SENTENCES IMPOSED. (Freu Association—By Telegraph-Copyright) RIGA, January 24. The trial has concluded of 29 Latvian Communists, who are charged with attempting to overthoow the present regime and establish a Communist dictatorship Five were sentenced to penal servitude for five years, 15 received sentences of from two to four years’ imprisonment, and the remainder were acquitted.—A. and N.Z.
