WORLD DISARMAMENT
PREPARATORY COMMISSION,
AMERICA TO TAKE PART

(Received Dec. 27, at 8 p.m.) Tlie United States will take part in the conference of the Preparatory Commission on Armaments in Geneva next February, Congress having- authorised an appropriation of 70,000d0l for the expenses of the American delegation, which will be headed by Mr Gibson and comprises virtually the same membership as that at the Naval Conference.
The Assistant Secretary of State, Mr Carr, informed the House of Representatives that all the reports of the Preparatory Commission Committees and members of the conference will be brought together for what it is hoped will be a final agreement. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
