DECREASE IN MEMBERSHIP. DROP IN MINERS’ FUNDS. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 26. The registrar of friendly societies’ return shows that 567 trade unions in Great Britain had a membership of 4,190,147 at the end of 1926, a decrease of 2,791,603 since the peak year of 1920.
