CARDIFF MAIL ROBBERY
FOSTER SEEKS REDRESS. APPEAL TO HOME SECRETARY. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, i LONDON, December 21. (Received Dec. 22, at 10 p.m.) Foster is appealing to the Homo Secretary for redress, including his passage money to New Zealand.—Sydney Sun Cable. Foster, who w-as arrested at Hamilton, was charged at lh e Old Bailey with the theft of four registered packages containing Treasury notas to the value of £IO,OOO, whidi were stolen from a mail hag between Cardiff and London on February 2. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty.
