FIRE IN MANILA
THREE CHILDREN KILLED. HUNDREDS OF HOUSES DESTROYED. (Frees Association—B- Telegraph—Oopynght.) MANILA, December 21. (Received Dec. 22, at 9.5 p.m.) The second incendiary fire this year in the Passay Nipa district-killed three children and made 2500 Kanilans homeless. Seven hundred dwellings were destroyed, and the damage is estimate at 500,000 dollars. One thousand people, threatened with death from suffocation to the intense heat of the blaye ( leaped into the waters of Manila Bay in an effort to escape.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
