The Walker Cup matches were continued last Saturday, and resulted in victories for Millers Flat and Heriol. EDIEVALE v. HERIOT. Hcriot batted first and scored 90, the principal scorers being Rush (24), J. Trip (16), W. Ramsay (10), and A. Partridge (10). Bowling for Edievale. J. Caffel (three wickets for 31), R. Caffel (two for 21) and T. CafTol (one for 8) obtained the best bowling averages. Edievale in their first innings made 19, llio batsmen failing to make a stand against the solid bowling, in the second innings they made 66, W. Caffel (11 not out), S. Duff (121, J. Heath (i 5) and A. Kennedy (11), making the best scores, J. Trip (six for 6). Graham (eight for 29), Tilley (two for 5) securing the best bowling averages for Hcriot. BEAUMONT v. MILLERS FLAT. The match Beaumont v. Millers Flat was played at Millers Flat under ideal conditions. Beaumont batted first and compiled 72 runs, only two batsmen getting double figures, Sim (38) and C. Edgar (10), the others making a poor stand. R. Ferguson (three for 13),' Stuart (three tor 25), Eckhoff (two for 25), F. Ferguson (ono for 3) were the best bowlers for Millers Flat. After the lunchen adjournment Millers Flat went in to bat, and made 1"6 for nine wickets, and secured a two point win on the first innings. Waldron (22), F. Ferguson (20), Rosanowski (18), Eckhoff (18), Stuart (14), and Walker (15) were the principal scorers for the Flat. J. Thompson (five for 9) including the “hat trick,” Sinclair (two for 36), Wood (one for 24) were the best trundlers for Beaumont. MATCH AT MACRAES. A match was played between Macraes and Karitano on the former’s ground on Saturday last, Karitane winning by four wickets in a two innings match. Macraes made 27 and 73, and Karitano replied with 69 and 35 for six wickets. The double fi-ure scorers for Macraes were—D. Sutherland (26 not out), W. Duff (13), and A. Mills (13). and for Karitano Jones (23 not out) and (12). Bowling for Macraes A. Mill? took seven wickets for 37 runs. W. Duff two for 9. and D. Sutherland five for A. For Karitano Jones took seven for 36, Snooks five for 20 and 'lc lau four for 25.
