LEGALITY OF BETTING. TEST CASE IN ENGLAND. (Pres* Association—By Toiegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, October 5. (Received Oct. 6, at 10 p.m.) The Anti-Gambling League took out a summons against a West End bookmaker to test the legality of betting on greyhound racing. When the summons came on in the West London Police Court, the league’s solicitor obtained two summonses against tho Greyhound Racing Association for using White City Stadium as a betting bouse and permitting betting there.
