A GLOOMY PHOPHECY

ANOTHER WORLD WAR. BRITAIN TO ATTACK RUSSIA. (Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright ) LONDON. August 28. The National Minority Movement's annual conference opened at Battersea, when 698 delegates wer e present, including many women. The platform was draped with crimson flags bearing Chinese and Russian inscriptions. Mr Tom Mann, who presided, declared that another world war was being prepared. Britain definitely and systematically was aiming at securing the largest possible number of naval bases and aerodromes with a view to making a dead set against the Soviet. Capitalist and Imperialist forces were using the border States to prepare for an onslaught upon Russia. It was the duty of the movement to render such a war impossible. The meeting carried a resolution denouncing the execution of Sacco andl Vanzetti as one of capitalism’s most hideous crimes. They were ot.lv executed because thev challenged capitalist society. The conference members stood for a minute to mark sympathy with their dead comrades.—Sydney Sun Cable.
