RUGBY FOOTBALL.
KAIKORAI v. PIRATES, INVERCARGILL/. An interesting game of Rugby football should be played at Carisbrook this afternoon. when Kaikorai will meet the Invercargill Pirates. Kaikorai is placing a strong team in the field, and is confident of putting up a high-class exhibition of Rugby football. The > Invercargill Pirates is also a strong side, including several Southland representative players, and is expected to prove a tough proposition. UNIONS AT VARIANCE. (Peb United Pesos Association.) HAMILTON, April 14. At the annual meeting of the Hamilton Rugby Union it was unanimously agreed that it be a recommendation to the Management Committee not to affiliate with the parent body, tho Waikato Eugßy Union, until a conference was held between the Waikato and Hamilton Unions to discuss the conditions existing between the two bodies.
