STATION IN NORTHERN AUSTRALIA. STATEMENT IN THE COMMONS. IPrcss Association—By Telegraph—Copyright., LONDON, March 2. Mr W. G. A. Ormsby-Gore (Undersecretary for the Dominions), replying to Mr E. J. Ramsden (Con.) in the House of Commons, said that no information had been received in connection with the research station in New Guinea: but consideration was at present being given by the Australian and the Imperial Governments in consultation with the Empire Marketing Board to the question of establishing a research station in Northern Australia, which should examine prob Icms affecting the whole of South Africa. —A. and N.Z.
