BRISBANE LOAN FROM NEW YORK. BRISBANE, March 2. Tihe City Council has raised a loan of £1,500,000 in New York at 5 per cent, for 30 years for local purposes. QUEENSLAND REVENUE DEFICIT. BRISBANE, March 3. (Received March 3, at 8 p.m.) The revenue returns for the eight months of the financial year show that the expenditure exceeds the revenue by £623,315.
