FUTURE OF RUMANIA
KING FERDINAND’S HOPES. {Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright.) BUCHAREST, December 22. (Received Dec. 23, at 10 p.m.) King Ferdinand, who has now left his sick bed, pathetically replying to loyal messages from deputations from the ken ate and the Chamber, said he was praying for strength to continue the task of securing the country’s constitutional foundation, ‘‘so that when I am gone people of patriotic spirit will lead Rumania in the path of peace and progress. Your homage to the Queen for the services which she rendered to her country while in America is well merited.”—A. and N.Z. Cable.
