CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR SOCIETY. The annual concert and presentation ol prizes of the Church of Christ Junior Christian Endeavour Society was held on Thursday evening in the new church hall. The audience completely filled the building and the programme given was of a varied and attractive character. iho Rev. W. More presided. During the evening an attractive programme was rendered. The Secretary (Miss Crawford) then read the annual report, which showed a class membership of 82. So many members had established noteworthy records for faithful attendance, that an Honour Roll had been prepared. This had been hung,; and contained a list of 21 names. Of this number, three had completed- nine years unbroken attendance, one, seven; five, six, years; two, five years; three, four years, and seven, three years. Mrs Sundstrum offered to the prize fund a donation to be known as the ‘’Thompson Memorial Prize in memoiy of her late father. Mr Alex Thompson. This had this year been awarded to Alex. Russell for six years’ attendance. The Treasurer, in her report, stated that £6 10s had been sent to mission work. Mr Lodger wood, on behalf of the society, presented Miss Sundstrum with an umbrella, as a token of appreciation from the class. Miss Sundstrum, thanked the children for their gift.
