MR LOUGHLIN’S DEFECTION EFFORTS TO HEAL BREACH. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, December 9. Renewed efforts are being made to heal the breach between the Government and the supporters of Mr Loughlin with a view to averting a generr 1 election. Members of the Federal Executive of the Australian Labour Party made a special journey to Sydney, and opened negotiations with the object of bringing about a reconciliation.
